Prize League – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

This competition is not determined by chance. Success depends on participants' skill in selecting teams strategically based on form, fixtures, and constraints. This distinction makes the competition exempt from gambling regulation under UK law (as defined by the Gambling Act 2005).

Entry is open to eligible users via paid entry on our website or via a postal entry route (see Section 3). The league awards cash prizes to top-performing participants at the end of the season.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to registered PremPix users aged 18 or over.
  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
  • Each participant must have a valid and unique PremPix account.
  • By entering, participants confirm that they meet these criteria and agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as the general site Site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

3. How to Enter

  • Entry to the Prize League requires payment of a one-time entry fee as specified at the point of sign-up.
  • As an alternative to paid entry, a free entry route is available by post. To enter via post, send your full name, PremPix username, email address, and confirmation that you are over 18 and a UK resident, to: Prempix, Unit 154749, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL.
  • Entries are limited to one entry per player.
  • All entries must be received before the entry deadline shown on the Site.
  • We accept no liability for any delays in post being received. It must be received by us on or before the deadline to qualify.
  • Entries received after this time will not be accepted, and refunds will not be issued for late payments.
  • Postal entries may take additional time to process. We recommend that users who enter by post begin playing the main game as normal. Their scores will still count and be retroactively included in the Prize League table once their entry has been validated and added.
  • PremPix reserves the right to cap the number of entries into the Prize League if required to preserve fairness and operational manageability. If a cap is imposed, it will be clearly communicated on the site.

4. Format & Gameplay

  • The Prize League follows the same gameplay format as the standard PremPix game.
  • Participants select one Premier League team per gameweek. Points are awarded based on that team's actual performance.
  • Each team can only be picked once at home and once away per season.
  • All decisions on scoring are final and based on publicly available match data.
  • The leaderboard is updated regularly and shown in the Leagues tab.

5. Prize Distribution

  • Cash prizes will be awarded to the top-performing players at the end of the season.
  • Prize values are displayed at the time of entry and remain visible above the Prize League table throughout the season.
  • Prizes are paid via BACS transfer to the winner's nominated UK bank account.
  • Winners will be required to provide valid UK bank details for BACS transfer. We may request identity verification before payment is made to ensure compliance with eligibility requirements.
  • In the event of a tie, the tied positions will share the combined prize for their positions (e.g. a 3-way tie for 1st will split the 1st–3rd prizes). The next player on the leaderboard will be considered 4th.
  • Winners will be contacted at the end of the season via the email associated with their PremPix account. We will not make repeat contact. If a winner does not respond before the start of the following season, the prize will be forfeited.
  • Winners who are found to not meet eligibility or qualification criteria will forfeit their prize. The prize will not be reallocated or passed down the leaderboard.

6. Refunds

  • No refunds will be provided for paid entries except where required by law or in the event of technical failure on our part preventing entry.

7. Disqualification

  • PremPix reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating the rules, including but not limited to:
    • Creating multiple accounts
    • Colluding with other users
    • Manipulating or abusing the platform
  • PremPix reserves the right to verify identity and eligibility at any time.
  • Disqualified users will not be eligible for a refund or prize.

8. Cancellation & Changes

  • PremPix reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • In the event of unforeseen technical issues or misconduct, PremPix may suspend or cancel the Prize League. If cancelled before the halfway point of the season, entry fees will be refunded.
  • If fewer users join than anticipated, PremPix reserves the right to adjust the number or value of prizes. Any such changes will be communicated on the Site and via email.

9. Data & Privacy

By entering the Prize League, you agree to the use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your name and scores will be displayed publicly on the Prize League leaderboard and possibly in the all-time leaderboard after the season ends.
